Meet the Gym Team
Chris Young, the
Manager of our gym in Surrey, and his team, offer a superb Personal
Training Service to our members and luxury spa hotel guests. After
a thorough and considered individual consultation, they will have a
clear understanding of your fitness goals and develop a personal
training session that perfectly matches your objectives, be it
weight loss, building strength, developing your cardiovascular
levels, or even a combination of all of these.
Jenni Russell, Assistant Gym Manager
Jenni has a number of year of experience
within the fitness industry. Initially working at Gleneagles Hotel
before moving to The Spa at Pennyhill Park Hotel in 2003.
Jenni has a very high energy approach to
training which leaves clients exhausted but with a smile on their
face. When training clients, Jenni specialises in fat loss
programs but is also an excellent swimming coach having helped many
of our members improve their performance in the pool, whether it is
with the fear of putting your head in the water or performing
tumble turns.
Jenni also manages our exercise studio at The
Spa; she’s always looking for new and inventive ways to help people
with their fitness. Current classes include Aqua Circuits,
Hatha Yoga and Street Dance!
With a variety YMCA and STA qualifications you know
you are in good hands!
Jenni's top tip:
- "Tabata training is what its all about with me at the
moment, I really enjoy
the wide range of exercises you can do with this style of interval
training, big body movements at a fast pace to get your heart rate
up. The variations are endless and you can
include different ‘toys’ such as kettlebells or medicine balls and
if you love to sweat then this is the training for you; but be warned I don't give much rest!"

Becky Lyndon, Gym Instructor
Becky isn’t your typical gym instructor who’s been into sport or
fitness all her life; in fact by the time she reached her mid 30s
she had 3 children and weighed over 20 stone. Since then she has
lost over half her bodyweight and improved her health
immeasurably.
Since 1999, Becky has been helping others achieve their
goals by drawing on the experiences of her own journey, as we all
do. Becky’s journey is longer and more varied than your
average fitness professional.
She has a fanatical interest in sports injuries and
anatomy. Her wealth of experience and qualifications in
Personal Training and Cardiac Rehab give her the ability to help
many people who have complicated health issues.
